Build A Miracle is a non-profit organization based in San Diego, CA, that raises funds to build homes for needy families in Tijuana, located just across the Mexican border. Build A Miracle enlists volunteers of all ages throughout southern California to travel to Mexico and help build homes.Each home costs between $10,000 and $12,000 to build, and families “pay” for their homes by doing 500 hours of community service; however, most go far beyond that and stay involved in helping other families realize the dream of a safe, secure, and dignified home.
